Although born in Vancouver, Denise left Canada when she was 3 and lived in New Zealand for some of her early years before moving to South Africa where she completed her schooling and started her first job in a law office in Cape Town. She met and married her husband there and they have 4 daughters. The family moved to Victoria in March 2007 and Denise was lucky enough to start working and re-enter the legal field within 3 weeks of arrival. The family is happily living in Gordon Head and still enjoys seeing deer strolling through the garden and eating the roses and whatever else takes their fancy!
