Mark W. Hundleby

Mark Hundleby maintains a civil litigation practice at Wilson Marshall Law Corporation, primarily in the areas of commercial, construction, employment, estate, property, and personal injury litigation. He has represented clients at the British Columbia Supreme and Provincial Court levels, and has also represented clients at the BC Human Rights Tribunal, Board of Referees (Employment Insurance), and the federal Office of the Commissioner of Review Tribunals. Mark has a particular interest in employment issues for both employees and employers, ranging from wrongful dismissal to workplace accommodation to workplace policies. Mark is prepared to draft and implement, as well as litigate, office policies, non-solicitation agreements, non-competition agreements, disability policies, disciplinary communications, and termination documents. He is a proponent of organized and proactive measures to avoid disputes, and tactful but forceful action to deal with disputes that have not been avoided. Mark is committed to providing practical advice and superior representation to his clients.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in modern European history from the University of Victoria in 2003, and a Bachelor of Laws from the UVic Faculty of Law in 2006. While in law school, Mark participated in both the Law Co-op program and the Law Centre (Clinical Law Program). Mark was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2008 and practiced at another Victoria law firm until moving his practice to Wilson Marshall in December 2011. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the British Columbia Trial Lawyers’ Association, and the Victoria Bar Association, in addition to the Law Society of British Columbia. Mark is a volunteer supervising lawyer for the UVic chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada.

Mark enjoys reading, chess, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. Mark was formerly an active and capable athlete, and is trying to remove the past-tense description as soon as possible.
