Clare Marshall
Partner, BA LLB
Clare Marshall is proud to be a second generation Marshall at Wilson Marshall Law Corporation. Clare maintains a general solicitor’s practice with an emphasis in Corporate, Commercial, and Real Estate Law and particularly enjoys assisting her clients with wealth development. Clare earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (With Distinction) in 1998, and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2003, both from the University of Victoria.
During her law studies Clare managed a collaborative project between the Attorney General of BC and the Ministry of Children and Family Development, and completed an international internship at a law firm in Ingolstadt, Germany. Clare articled at Wilson Marshall Law Corporation in 2003, and was called to the BC Bar in 2004. After being called to the BC Bar, Clare moved to New York and completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Charles J. Siragusa of the New York Western Federal District Court. Clare returned to Victoria and to Wilson Marshall in 2005.
Clare’s experience locally, abroad, in front of and behind the Canadian, American, and German court benches has facilitated a diverse understanding of the intricacies of the practice of law in a local and global business context. This understanding coupled with her diligent service and meticulous attention to detail have enabled Clare to provide her clients with the conscientious counsel necessary to facilitate the optimal development of their personal and business enterprises.
Clare is married to Steve Lingren, a retired professional hockey player, and current owner and operator of Steve Lingren Trucking. Clare and Steve have two young children.
