Almut Keil practices in the areas of wills and estates, business and real estate law. She provides services in both English and German.

In her wills and estates practice, Almut advises clients on issues concerning estate planning, including wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, and trusts, and on matters involving the probating of wills and administration of estates.

Almut’s business law practice involves incorporations and corporate reorganizations, drafting a wide variety of corporate and commercial agreements, assisting with share and asset purchase/sale transactions, and drafting and reviewing commercial leases.

In her real estate practice, Almut counsels and represents clients in purchasing and selling residential and commercial property and acts for developers of both residential and mixed-use projects.

Almut obtained her law degree from the University of Victoria and joined Wilson Marshall as an articled student in 2007. While studying law, she worked as a research assistant in the areas of employment, family, and contracts law and was awarded the 2007 Victoria Estate Planning Council Douglas Gray Book Prize.

Prior to her career as a lawyer, Almut worked as a photographer, legal assistant and as a movie production assistant. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, trying new foods, and going on hikes with her artist husband and three dogs.
